In a basement, at 3am, three University of California, Berkeley students gathered to study and create space for the ostracized within a household of 62 people. There, they identified inequities facing Black and Brown communities in America. Today, we unveil exclusive bias through both qualitative and quantitative research.
Half or more say being poor, Muslim, black or Hispanic puts people at a disadvantage in our society.
Through research focusing on underserved communities in economic and public health, we can source equitable solutions in the tech industry.

Tulsa, OK (1921)- This neighborhood is still recognized as one of the most prosperous African American towns to date. This affluent hard working community was bombed and burned to the ground by mobs of envious whites.
These statistics are just an amplification of the ‘Slave Health Deficit’ which has been an aftermath of years of discrimination, unequal treatment and injustices in healthcare, criminal justice and employment.

San Quentin, CA - In April, San Quentin had 0 cases of Covid-19. As of June, SQ had become the third-largest outbreak in the United States, affirming that the prison health-care delivery system violates the constitution’s ban on cruel and unusual punishment. In one month, 1,600 people — have tested positive. Six have died.
